2006 IBMA Awards Announced
Congratulations to Keith Garrett for his participation on the album
“Celebration of
Life: Musicians Against Childhood Cancer” (Skaggs
Family Records) which took
home the 2006 IBMA award for ALBUM OF
THE YEAR. Keith joined the other musicians on stage to receive
this honor.

FAVORITE LOCAL SONG.

BMR XM Studio Special
Blue Moon Rising was proud to be a guest on Kyle Cantrell's XM Satellite Radio's Bluegrass Junction (XM 14). The show debuted July 21, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. and was rebroadcast throughout the following week. The special featured the band performing live in the studio and an interview with Kyle regarding their CD "On The Rise". The album and single "This Old Martin Box" are climbing the bluegrass charts. Blue Moon Rising also debuted on Bluegrass Now Magazine's August 2006 Gospel Truth Chart at #7 for the single "He Arose."
