| 11.06.2005 Hello and Happy Holidays to all our friends and fans! As we head into winter, we would like to wish each and everyone a safe, peaceful, and joyous holiday season filled with precious moments shared with all those you love! We can’t thank you enough for making this year the best that we’ve ever had since we first got together in the winter of 2000 and for the continued support you’ve given us by coming out to all our live shows and for buying and requesting our music. Thanks once again to all the radio stations that continue to play our music! We’re so excited to tell you about some wonderful things that have been happening for the band. First off, we now have our very own web page on www.cmt.com! Please click any of the CMT.COM banners that you find on our website, and you’ll be immediately directed to our page. When you’re there, please sign our message board because every hit to the site and every message board entry determines how long we get to keep our page. We would like to announce that our new Lonesome Day Records release “On the Rise” can now be purchased in your local Wal-Mart store. Take a look in the Bluegrass section the next time you take a trip to Wal-Mart and if you don’t see our CD there, be sure to put in a request for it. Also, be sure to support bluegrass music by purchasing bluegrass CD’s from your Wal-Mart store! Remember, the more bluegrass you buy from them, the more bluegrass artists they’ll continue to stock in their stores! We’re very proud to announce that our booking and publicity is now being handled exclusively by Hope River Entertainment. We’re very excited to be a part of the Hope River Entertainment roster and we’re confident that this business relationship will take us to many new and exciting places where you’ll be able to catch BMR more than ever in the months and years to come! At the request of many friends and fans, we would like to announce that we are in the process of putting together the Blue Moon Rising Fan Club! Be sure to get your name on the list the next time you see us at one of our live performances if you would like to be a member and be looking for a sign-up page in the near future on our website. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of the BMR Fan Club in the weeks to come. October was a huge month for the band. We started out the month by playing for our friends at the University of Tennessee’s Parent Association Tailgate Party. This was our fourth time at this event and a good time was had by all in attendance. October 14th found us playing in our own backyard at Tellico Community Church, Tellico Village, TN. We were there for the Breath Clean Air Action Team Benefit Show and it was a huge success! There were many people in attendance who had never seen BMR perform and we made many new fans. The week of October 24th - 28th took us to the IBMA World of Bluegrass in Nashville, TN. We had a wonderful time as usual and were fortunate to showcase in the DC Bluegrass Union, Lonesome Day Records, Hope River Entertainment, and California Bluegrass Association suites. Special thanks to each one of these fine organizations for inviting us to showcase! In addition to these showcases, we were privileged to take part in an in-store performance at Tower Records along with Michelle Nixon and Drive and Lou Reid and Carolina. Each artist who performed sounded absolutely fantastic and we would like to thank Tower Records for allowing us to take part in this special evening. Finally, we closed out the month of October with a performance at the Sixth Annual Tucson Bluegrass Festival at the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson, AZ. What a great festival! Tucson is one of the most beautiful places in the world and we were fortunate to meet many new fans and look forward to going back in the future!
