HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Well folks, it’s been awhile since our last update and so many things have happened it’s hard to know where to begin.  First and foremost, we would like to send each and everyone our heartfelt wishes for a safe and happy holiday season.

We recently signed a brand new recording contract with Lonesome Day Records.  Lonesome Day is owned by Randall Deaton and is located in Booneville, KY.  We’re very exited to be a part of this great record label and are currently working on our third (as yet untitled) album.  We’ve dedicated the months of November and December to recording our new album and spending the holidays with our families.  We hope to have this album out by early 2005.  By signing with Lonesome Day, we are joining the ranks of such greats as Randy Kohrs, Jeff Parker, and Darrell Webb who all have brand new projects out on Lonesome Day.  For more information on Lonesome Day Records, check out www.lonesomeday.com.

Next, we would like to welcome our new guitarist/tenor singer, Randall Massengill.  We’re extremely proud to have Randall in our band as he’s a great tenor singer, guitar player, and fun guy to be around.  We know you’ll recognize Randall from the nine years that he spent playing guitar and singing tenor for the fantastic bluegrass gospel band, New Road.  Check back soon and we’ll have our bio pages updated to include Randall’s picture and a bio so that you can learn a little more about him.  We can’t wait for you to hear how good Randall sounds with the band.  He’s a perfect fit!

IBMA was a great success for us this year!  We would like to send our thanks out to our dear friends Jeff Barbra and Sarah Pirkle who hosted and invited us to play at the East Tennessee Music Suite, all our friends at the Arizona Musician’s Association for inviting us to showcase in their suite, and Penni McDaniels at Hope River Entertainment for her kind invitation to showcase in their suite.  As usual, we met many wonderful people and made many new friends.  We also had the chance to hang out and pick a little with many of our old friends.  This year, we unveiled our new “I’ve Been Mooned” bumper sticker at IBMA and it was a smashing success.  Check out our merchandise page to find out how to get yours today!

Well, that’s about it for now.  We’ve got a good schedule lined up for 2005 and we hope to see each and everyone of you on the road this year!
